I was commissioned by the Piedmont Wildlife Center, a non-profit animal rescue center local to Durham NC, to design their new box turtle exhibit. This project focused on portraying information and illustrations that reflected the values of the organization as well as threats to box turtle conservation on the east coast. Their citizen science project encouraging the public to document box turtles they see in the area and upload them to the PWC’s turtle-tracking site was critical to include.
