Gibbon Conservation Center
Opening Signage
LA, California

In collaboration with designer Christopher Barela we made two opening signs for the non-profit wildlife conservation center for Gibbons in LA. Our focus was on emphasizing the uniqueness of gibbons among other apes and how their species has come to be endangered by human influence. The signs are also meant to be physically engaging; prompting visitors to measure their arm against the length of gibbon’s and touch a bronze replica of a gibbon foot that was installed in post-production. Chris Barela was resposible for the gibbon illustrations and written content on this piece, I designed the typography and background illustrations.
